Kay has worked in a variety of Equestrian disciplines. Originating
from Yorkshire where hunting, team chasing and
show jumping were her main interests. Kay then went to Warwickshire College
to study an Advanced National Certificate
in Equine Business Management. On completion of this she continued working
at the college for a couple of years
spending time training and working with Erik Theiguaard.
After a summer spent working and training at a dressage barn in upstate New York,
Kay
then returned to the UK and ran a competition / Livery yard at Wellington Riding
Hants.
The next move was to Holland where Kay rode and ran the yard for a very successful
Horse dealer producing many young horses for sales and riding horses up
to 1.30m
jumping and PSG Dressage.
Kay developed many contacts whilst in Holland and since returning to the UK
she has
sourced and sold over 50successful horses within the UK and Europe.
Kay has also spent time working with low to high goal polo ponies, Grand prix
Dressage horses and international event horses Grooming at many international
events including Lumuhlen and Badminton. Kay has recently spent time
training
with Nicky Barrett.
(Flexibility is Kay's key word) and she has also
trained many students for BHS and NVQ exams and teaches at many
pony club rallys and camps and freelance teaches.
